The first crisis in digital asset investment is happening and is real.   The first bubble has popped.  Like all crisis with overwhelming demand to sell and flight to safety (likely cash), the digital asset economy, financial system and infrastructure had been severely tested.  Unlike any crisis, there is minimal government intervention or support for digital assets.  On the contrary, we will very likely see much more scrutiny and regulations to protect investors post-crisis.  

The convenience to trade in digital assets with billionaires like Elon Musk (the world’s richest man with $280 billion) getting involved, leading crypto exchange Binance investing in mainstream media such as Forbes, means interests in digital assets will return and we will likely see price surge in digital assets again.  Are most investors in digital asset looking to just make a quick buck?  Are they looking to become an instant millionaire or billionaire at the age of 21?  Or do most investors in digital assets believe in valuing digital assets, creating & investing in a financial system to support digital assets, and consequentially enhancing the existing financial system we live in.  Regardless, the digital asset investment and financial system is at the early stage of discovery, but building up fast because it is digital.  With a huge following and committed investors, it is here to stay until government policies determines whether it can stay, how it can stay and how it will form a part of the financial system.
